International Snow Tango Championships is coming up again on March in Tampere, at Central Square. This Finnish dancing event with its easy-going atmosphere begins on Saturday, 7th of March at 12:00 am and will last until 2:30 pm.
Competition registration should be done in advance on Friday, 6th of March until 6:00 pm. Instructions for registration are available in competition invitation.
Event is open for everybody. Chairman of Hurmio, Kirsi Suoniemi will open the event. Master of Ceremonies will be J-P Koskinen and singing soloists will be Elina Vettenranta and Aki Mäki.
Floor for competition: Snowy (hopefully) Central Square, dance area about 15 m X 15 m
Dance Style at the Competition: "Snow tango". Music for dancing is played from CDs. Dancers will express the tango music and will dance according to stage etiquette.
General Competition Information: Competition is open for everybody. Clothing is free but desirable. Depending on the number of participants, there will be arranged qualification rounds, semifinals and final.
Registration Information: Competition registration should be done in advance on Friday, 6th of March until 6:00 pm, but can also be done at competition area on 7th of March from 11:00 to 11:30 am. Advance registration can be sent to Jari Kangasmaki (firstname.lastname@hurmio.fi).
Registration Fee: 10 euros for one couple.
